Jay & Ilea | Silvertip Wedding Highlight
Spring is in the air! I just spent the weekend away in Canmore and I was thinking back on Jay and Ilea's warm spring wedding at Silvertip Resort. Jay & Ilea are as equally sweet and they are a beautiful couple - and we had the most amazing day celebrating with them.
It's no secret that we love shooting in Canmore, Alberta - (our name was inspired by the Three Sister Mountains in case you hadn't put that together!) and If we were to choose one location that has it all, it's Silvertip. The outdoor ceremony location has the most incredible view of the Rockies - and the sun sits just right to capture stunning family photos just a few steps from the gazebo. The reception is rustic yet classic - and the service and food is nothing but the absolute best. (Yep...self proclaimed foodie over here!)
For photos we went to the river by the old train rail bridge, and we were able to convince Ilea and Jay to sneak away for some quiet one on one time just out the back door of their reception as the sun was getting low in the sky. Theres just nothing like those mountains!
